Kari Samantha (born April 28th in 1967) Wuhrer is a famous American singer and actress. Wuhrer began her career as a teenager. She is known for her roles as Maggie Beckett in the television show Sliders as well as her role as Sheriff Samantha Parker in the horror comedy film Eight Legged Freaks.Wuhrer was born in Brookfield, Connecticut, the daughter of Karin (nee Noble), an accountant for payroll, as well as German American Andrew Wuhrer, a police officer and auto salesman. The couple has three brothers. When she was young, Wuhrer sang at clubs and went out to sing. Kari Wuhrer was an American model, singer and actor. She started her acting career at the Wooster school when she was thirteen years old. She is born a Brookfield local born in Brookfield Connecticut, on the 28th of April 1967. She is the daughter of an American-born father from Germany and a German-American mother. Kari's children are three. As a teen, Kari would perform in clubs by taking a break from home. Kari was only 13 when she began her acting classes at the Wooster School. Later, Kari enrolled at Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. Columbia University. Marymount Manhattan College. Kari got into acting while she was still a teenager. Her first major break on MTV Remote Control in 1987.
