Amber Benson (born April 14 70 years ago) is an American singer, actress, writer and director. She is known best for her character in the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer as Tara Maclay. She also directed, produced and starred on her own movies Chance as well as Lovers Liars & Lunatics. She also appeared in the movie Kiss the Bride. Benson is the daughter born on January 8, 1977, of Edward and Diane Benson. Danielle Benson is her artist younger sister.
